| shorter shocks that stock axail
i got a new vanquish incision chassis for my rtr axial and now the belly is sitting at over 3 inches and thats with some fuel tubing in the shafts to shorten them but thinking about upgrading anyways, who makes a good shorter shock than the stock axial,by the way the new chassis is awesome |

Losi crawler shocks 4". Traxxas long big bores 3.5". Axial comp shocks 4". Use Losi crawler shock springs on them.

I just put my incision chassis together with the traxxas big bores. Currently sitting at 3&1/8 inches. I do however have hotbodies rover for tires which increase the ride height a little. Can't weight to get the rest of this crawler put together, chassis is very nice.

I actually like running a shorter shock, keeping CG low and running a little less flex to keep the rig stable and predictable. I thing that 80mm shocks would be a good choice for that chassis. I also run 5.5" tire to get the needed belly hight. but thats just me here is a good set that would work pretty well IMO: http://cgi.ebay.com/YR-80mm-Damper-S...item45f026327a also just read another thread that recomended running thies springs on RC4wd 80mm shocks http://www.rcplanet.com/Associated_S..._p/asc6493.htm Last edited by chris w; 01-14-2010 at 09:21 PM. |

Hi Another make of shocks that are built in a different way. I got them of ebay, seem to be high quality, nice design & materials. http://cgi.ebay.com/G-Transition-Sho...item1c0d6e9344 |
