Thanks, me too lol. The only thing I'm waiting on is the Axial ARTR. My girlfriend is getting it for me for our 2 year anniversary on March 7th. I've got everything planned and will probably paint the panels next weekend

Better ask your woman if you can get your gift early. I don't think I could wait till march.

It does not...that's an East End Machining double triangulated Delrin skid and it's killer, I have one on my Eclipse.

Thanks! Yea, the wait is killing me. Especially now that I have all the parts. The skid is from East End Machining (it's written in the parts list).

I'm thinking an orangey coppery color (Copperhead if you watch TRUCKS). What do you guys think?

The only thing I'm worried about is how close/far it is from Axial ARTR Orange. Any insight? Thanks again!

I've seen the ARTR but I don't have any of the Axial Orange components to do a side by side comparo.

I can tell you that the Pactra has a nice subtle Metal Flake finish to it and if I remember correctly, it's a bit darker hue than Axial's Orange.

From my experience, there is nothing available in a rattle can that is close to the axial orange. The pactra flourescent orange is similar is tone, but doen'st have that metallic look. exesivefire did my paint, and the pearl orange he applied to my Eclipse panels are a dead on match to my artr beadlock rings.

Thanks guys, I wonder if I used fiery orange with a silver backer, would it lighten it up a bit?

It's possible...haven't tried it yet simply because the Pactra Backing Black is recommended, but you could just back it with that after the silver.

I noticed that I have to go a bit heavier with the Fiery Orange than with other colors before backing, so just backlight check it before you throw the silver to be sure you don't get any bleed through.

Thanks for the bleed tip! I think I'm going to do that, I was going to do black on top of everything anyway because I want the Interior to be black. I'm assuming just use Pactra Gloss Black?

No sir, use the Pactra Backing Black that is made for their boutique colors:

It seals very well and it's a flat finish that looks killer

Thanks a million

After some thinking, I think I'm going to scrap the orange. Unless it's perfectly matched, it'll look stupid, and that would bother me, A LOT. So I think I want to go with some kind of silver or shadow grey. I think the combination of black frame and orange likes will look killer with silver panels. I'll see what the hobby shop has next weekend.
