Default shocks coming unscrewed

Ok, I just got an used axial and when it articulates hard in the back the shocks come undone. I' ve had to rescrew them back together but now I don't have any oil left. Is there a common fix for this?

Sounds like the caps or the shock body is striped. Losi 4" crawler shocks are a good upgrade and a direct bolt on.

Basically it is a problem and the common fix is to replace them, traxxas big bores work as well and even better with the shock cap mod.

tmaxx ones would be a direct replacement

but i'd go w/ the slash rears. and an aftermarket chassis.

I've also heard that you shouldn't fill them up all the way leave between a 1/16th to an 1/8 of an inch from the top.mine popped off in a hard binding spot and i believe this is the reason for it refilled them and haven't had the problem since.
