Default Is it really faster in reverse?

You all have been amazingly helpfull as I have taken a stock RTR and basically changed EVERYTHING in no time at all. Here is what I am now running before I get to my question. I am running a lipo 2000, rooster crawler esc, novac 55t motor. stock axial receiver, and a stock servo. I had an issue with my receiver today and replaced the 2A's. I also used this as and excuse to replace the stock ESC with the rooster. I am happy with how it is running, but I think it is faster at full throttle in reverse than forward. Should this be so?

If you do the one touch setup correctly it should be the same speed both ways.

Are you using a rx pack to power the rx and servo? or did you replace the tx batteries?

Are you running the stock radio and reciever? If so it is possible, the stock Axial electronics are not very good. you can try switching the polarity of your motor and fliping the reverse switch on the radio to see if that helps, your best bet is to upgrade your radio. You will then be able to make better adjustments and have better control of your crawler. This is one of the first upgrades I did to my crawler, it made a huge difference.

Default Great idea.

Great idea regarding switching things around a bit. I will give that a go.
