| Solved my Torque Twist Problem
Well i reduced it by, i would say 80%. I switched to a 4 link setup with custom lengths. The stock links totally sucked. I switched to the stage 2 setup which helped but still sucked. Switched to custom 4 link and it works great now. Here are some pics of my setup. BEFORE SETUP AFTER SETUP |

Looks like your rig is going backwards in the first cardboard pic, just switch links around/4 link?

I tested it forwards and backwards with the stage2 setup, and it was the same amount of twist. I forgot to take pictures before i switched to my 4 link. Sorry, but as you can see, it did wonders. Tested it out on the rocks and i am happy with the improvement.

Make sure to "clock" your C's so the front links don't grind on the rocks all day I did my own version of the CKRC stage 2 and it was an "improvement" but your right, it isn't the end all for issues with the stock chassis You may want to try drilling 2 more outer holes on the battery plate to allow for more testing positions |

Do not know the term "Clock your C's". Also the two outer holes that you are talking about, is that on the servo plate? I kept the stage2 on the front, i am thinking of doing the 4 link on the front also, what do you think? |

After spending some time here in the forum, i think i know what your talking about. I need to twist steering knuckles, this will adjust my caster. I know you would want positive caster, but how much. Right now i am bigtime negative due to adjusting my pinion angle. What does it take to twist the steering knuckles, is it hard? |

There are clockable Cs from both Axial and HR. I use the HR onesw and seem to be holding up great after tons of abuse.

Nice fix on the torque flex. What length links did you use? Also when flexing do you links touch?

I got the mounting points from a suspension program an aquaintance of mine had that he used on real rock crawlers. I cut them to length according to what pinion angle you want. The links do not touch. |
