| Homeade aluminum chassis.
I decided last night to make a custom chassis out of aluminum for my ax10. I made it 1 inch longer and the CG a little lower. And then realized, while drinking a mtn dew that they have the same color scheme so i cut a couple of cans up and bolted them on. It crawls much better now, i just need to make a mount for the front so i can put my battery up on the front axle with the servo. Before. After What do you guys think? I forgot to add that im a 17y/o kid that has a limited amount of tools and money. |

Looks good ... Look into some of the stickies at the begining of the forum and you'll find templates (free) that'll show ya the front mount (for batt & servo) and 4-link , also show the sorta stage 2 kit to inboard your lower links for better triangulation and it cleans up the sides to slide better. all done on the real cheap and they all really help ... Great start , but as you probably already know they are never truly done . so we're all just starting again and again |
