Mah matters to, as C rating means nothing without it. So tell us your motor, voltage (S) and then we can tell you more, also what the peak and cont. C's are. For instance I have a 3,300 20C pack that's the strongest pack I own, but my rig won't run anywhere but flat ground with a 1,900 20C pack (Ialso suspect that peak on that junk pack vs cont on the other).

last year i ran a heavy 9lb droop rig on 2s 15c 1000's with the Goat
they ran a little warm after a hard run but not hot, only got about 12min. run time per pack,{w/a dig trans} and had great wheel speed as well.

I'm gonna say no, sorta. If ya are running a 1500mah 20C batt all ya got is 30amps available (45amps if it will burst to 30C). A crawler can pull over 60amps pretty easy. That said, I've run 500mah 25C (12.5amps) battery in my comp moa (I like small and light). They really didn't have great power and they didn't last long but they did ok. I run 850mah 45c (90C burst) now and can really tell the power difference. While ya can run a lower C, ya won't have the power and the battery will be overstressed and not last. Power really is limited to what ever your battery will put out, no matter what esc/motor ya got. It really is that weak link thing.

Hey,

I'm running a Tekin FXR with 65T Integy motor. Just installed a CC BEC and Hitec 7950 servo.

Cheers

Sorry but the guys that said more info required are correct...

What matters is how much amperage the battery can supply and your setup will draw...

Battery amperage is a factor of C and Capacity a 20 C 1000 Mah battery will supply max 20amps & 40C 500mah battery will supply the same.

Where you want to mount the battery will dicate size and hence capcity will will drive C rating...

With a 65T I'm guessing 3S... 65T will draw less amps but a 30C 1050mah 3s would be a good place to look.
