Default Axial mentor needed

There's just too much stuff to learn! I need a friggin' mentor who is wise in the ways of the Axial AX10.

Stuff that need to be discussed:
1) General set up
2) Shock issues
3) Upgrades that will make a difference.

This is a non-revenue producing adventure so think it through.

Applications will be accepted through April 5th.

Thanks in advance,

Kanine

I figure high post count just means more time typing than driving.

Well, I do drive. I drive on my basement course and if you go to you tube and search Kanine01354 you can see my latest adventure this past Sat.

I do have a lot of posts. I'm trying to get on the fast track to knowing this stuff and being able to help those who are not wise in the ways of the Axial.

I have a 2s Lipo coming in today with a new 6 cell NiMh in a brick format to be mounted in my custom front servo/battery mount. I also have my revo rod ends coming in to beef up my lower links.

My front shocks are another matter though. I'm running Traxxas Emaxx with LMC soft springs. Did I see that there was a mod done to the lower cap to help the springs seat?
My front end is pretty tight. I don't want 85 degrees of articulation but my ride will roll over before the shocks give an inch. I'll post pictures later. You can see a vid in my other post " Stick packs suck".

There is a mod somewhere in the bully section but I can't find it. IIRC, he just drilled a hole in the cup and tied the spring to it with a piece of wire.
If I can find the link I'll edit it into this post.

Take the Chisel's back and get your self some white dot Rovers, They will work much better, but either tire will be better then the stock ones, Also upgrade to a Hi-torque steering servo and a Castle BEC so you have enough voltage to run it.

Make your own ends... Traxxas Revo ends/ 8-32 threaded rod/ brake line that will fit over the rod. Save your $$$$

It's a lot more fun anyways.

Should y ou use a BEC even for a Nimh? I thought it was only for Lipo?

Voltage is voltage whether it comes from a potato, or a battery.
