Default AX-10 and the tires rub

i just got my axial and when i give it full stear the inside luggs of the tire rub up against the lower bent links any one got any ideas

pictures would help. but generally that is a good problem to have. at least you seem to be getting full steering. You probably just need to move your link mounting positions. but without seening pictures it's tough to say to where. my guess is you need to move them in at the chassis so they are more triangulated. possibly in at the axle as well. try looking at other build threads and pics of other rigs on here to get an idea of how they should be set up.

let them stuff. isn't hurting a thing. just keep an eye out for spring retainers. sometimes they get pulled off if your tires get into them

agreed but he said they are hitting the links not the shocks. that makes me think he needs to move the links in.

like i said. let them rub. but keep an eye on the shocks if they start rubbing them too.

With everything mounted how it is, grab the link and twist it so that the bend is pointing slightly toward the drive shaft. This will give you A LITTLE more room, order you a double triangulation skid ASAP. Thiss will pretty much elimonate the problem.
