Default Are added caster C-Hubs worth $28?

On eBay, they have knock-off aluminum added caster C-hubs for the AX10 for $28 (free shipping). Does anyone think this is $28 well spent, or is it not really worth it?

Thanks,
Josh

I think beef tubes are much more versatile and only modetately difficult to install. Then you have BOTH good pinion angle and good castor with added axle housing strength.

Added caster hubs generally only give you a few degrees of change, and most anyone producing aluminum hubs will add this option anyway. Beef toobs are a must though.

I love the beef t00bs but save yourself the headache and buy a quality aluminum C hub such as the Axial version. The tolerances are tighter and they just work better than the cheaper ones. Some brands give you a slot for the mounting hole and I've found that to be annoying on all accounts with or without beef t00bs.

I'm not a fan of that horizontal slot either. They allow the C to slide out, and I've seen dogbones disconnect because of it.

The Axial C's are my favorite as well, but don't use the set screws that they come with...use M3 button heads. Thank Gunnar for that tip

X2 What Juan said. The slots are bad news. I learned that the hard way. Ended up selling them and using the axial's with button heads.
