Looks great guys, I always hate trying to restick on wheel weights after using them once.

I think this is a great idea if...the consistency of the weight is really within .00x of each other. Heck, I'd take weight consistency of .0x oz. Nice to see that these can be retro-fitted to pre-Vanquish style Axial beadlocks.

The problem I see with lead sticky weights is the variance in weight from package to package. I've had a "6 oz." package of lead weights come in anywhere from 5.60 oz. to 6.35 oz.

Hey guys, check out the picture of the weights installed on a 1.9 with all 6 inserts. Works exactly the same on the 2.2 wheels, however the groove is larger and the weights seat deeper on the 2.2's.

These are great looking, what do you think the chances are of them fitting the groove in a set of SLW's?

They key right into the groove that goes down the center of the wheel.

That's what I thought...but it's been a while since I've held an axial wheel in my hand and couldn't remember if there was a channel.

Looks nice, but at the end of the day they are inside the tire and you can't see them. I'll stick with stick on weights for now, that's a lot of $$ for weights IMO. Also you can reuse stick on weights without a problem, a couple wraps of electrical tape holds them in place great.

They look awesome but I gotta agree with cbtu0914. If I understand correctly it's $44 per wheel for the max weight or $88 for the front. That will buy a lot of stick on weights or your pretty close to some procomps.

I do like that it makes it easier to play around with the weight while your tuning your rig. But if you have to go through the trouble of ripping your tires off anyway I'll just stick with stick ons.

BTW, if you have vented rims is there still enough room for the air to flow?

To load your front wheels with the max weight you need 2 packages of the main ring and 3 packages of the inserts. So $44 retail Street price may be lower.

$44?!? Where do you get that from? Here is how I see it:

For one wheel =
$10 - ring
$8 - 4 weights (there is room for 6 on the ring, so for the max you'll need 2)
____________
$26 per wheel if you plan to order two packs of the weights.

IMO, if you want to run these on all 4 tires, then you wont need to purchase weights for the back....you can use the leftovers from the fronts.
