What's your set up (Servo, Motor, receiver)? Are you running a dig?

When the truck stops running, can you push it and it will move again under it's own power? If so, then it sounds like you have a stuck brush.

Also, what ESC and are you running an external BEC?

Exclamation

You said you were running a Tower Hobbies 2.4 ghz system.

I have had some problems with their receivers. Because they are so cheap, I decided to purchase another receiver only, and low and behold, it works...only for a little while. The new one I just bought stopped working after 2 battery packs.

A call to Tower is in order. In my case, the first receiver quit after a week. I had throttle, but no steering. With the second receiver, I have steering, but no throttle.

In contrast, my Spektrum receiver, which has been fully submerged in water twice, is still going strong.

X2 on the Tower. Cheap parts usually = cheap performance.

You could try running a stronger BEC and maybe a better radio system I am running a futaba 4pk and my second radio system is an airtronics mx11 and I have had no problem with either but if your on a budget a spektrum dx3r or dx3s are both good as well and for the BEC I always go with a castle creations one hope it helps man!
