| Is $95 for the AX10 a good deal? (Updated after purchase)
Hello all, I've found an AX10 local to me, nothing wrong with it, barely used, comes with a motor and servo, no other electronics. I've looked on eBay and they seem to go for at least $125. So I assume $95 is a pretty good deal right?

If it is in good condition that is a great deal, of course you can always try to go lower! If it is in so so condition then certainly try and go lower.

| This is the only picture he has available. He said he barely used it. He actually wants $105, but I figured I'd go for $95... |

Like stated before, I'd say I have $80 cash money in my pocket. Take it or leave it. If he tells you no turn around and walk off most of the time they usually say "But wait...."

ide just say how firm are you on your price? and ask him if he'll take $80. If someone came up to me and said take it or leave while trying to talk me down Ide say see ya buddy. Be polite but still try to get it for lower. |

Its a figure of speech romulus, say $80 bucks in my wallet right now, turn around and walk. The least he can do is say no.

Well he was pretty firm. He wanted $105, I offered $90 (didn't want to lowball and offend him) and we decided on $95. Now its time to gather some parts. I plan on using this with my DX6i, so I'll need an AR6100, or AR500 too. I haven't really browsed the AX10 forum yet, so now that is on my to do list too. I really wanted a SCX10, so I might just play with this one for a bit and resell it.

Or buy the SCX-10 chassis kit and convert it. Add the body of your choice and you're golden.

IMO scale isn't too fun. Throw a dig unit on it, and comp.
