Default Question about esc.

Hello, just picked up my first crawler an ax10. Must say its a blast to drive. Dont know why I wanted this long. lol My question is Im using my DX3S and I was messing around with the settings. I set the throttle trim high just enough where it wasnt moving on its own. I was using that as a drag brake for steep inclines. Will this hurt the stock esc? Got plans for a novak rooster but until that gets here I dont want to hurt the stock one.

No you should be fine. If your on a budget RC4WD has some good prices on a ESC that has a drag brake.

Or get an R2D tranny, you won't need a drag brake ;)
