I just flew to and from Nats. I had my radio, charger, lipos in a lipo sack, ipad and a change of clothes in my back pack as a carry on. I carried my rig by hand as my "personal item". Give yourself a little extra time, they may want to bomb swab everything you have, or you will walk right through, I had both happen on the same trip. Be prepared to answer questions about what you have, and be polite. Check your tools if you plan on taking them. |

Richard, those Lipo sacks are nice! Who did you purchase yours through? It seems MAXAMPS wont deliver to China. Go figure. Casey |

I just flew from Orlando to L.A. I used my lucky Under Armour duffle bag & one suit case. Duffle had DX3R (in box), & crawler (U.G.C. Fastback). I removed the wheels (in side pocket) and it all fit. I did not remove the batt. Tools, more batts, & charger in suitcase checked in. I received the bomb check too. It got run through the X-ray deal 3 times. Good to go I was polite. I even had two lighters in my Camel Bak. After all that they still didn't know what it was, but i gave the dude a run down and it was all good. Good luck.

only put your lipos in the lipo bag, charger and transmitter in your backpack, lipo bag in your backpack. I do not know about bb's in the tires. I have vanquish wheels with nova foams, and the bullet weights. I had to answer a question about the "bullets" and prove they were not live ammo. BB's should be ok if you do not have a BB gun with you, you may want to call TSA to verify though. |
