Default Need help with SWX

I have searched and searched but there are just so many SWX builds out there I cant find the setup I am trying to figure out. Heres my situation. I just recieved a used swx chassied AX10 with an R2D installed in it. I have a Goat sensored crawler system to install with the r2d tranny but when I try to install it the motor hits the chassis. Has anyone tried this setup before?? Is there anything I can do without grinding the chassis down at one of its structural parts?? I have an idea to grind it down behind the motor (where the sensored part of the motor hits the chassis) and use a brace between the shock towers (from front to rear). Will this effect the strength of the chassis?? Sorry no pics of it. If it looks like pics are needed I can try to get some. Thanks in advance for any help.

I found an old build thread from Roksloski, not with a Goat though: My Swx

Looks pretty tight in the back, I'd consider switching to an Axial trans.
