| Bearings come in the kit.You need to drill the hexes out to fit the larger axles.

I'm just wondering what application would warrant spending $150 on a set of axles? Are the stock ones prone to breaking?

The way I understand it, stock dogbones don't give as much steering angle as cvds, and the pins in most cvds are prone to breaking under enough stress (and we all know that crawling puts tons of stress on steering components). You really have two options, go with gunnar's cvd pins, which should hold up much better than stock, or go with 300's, and as far as I can tell, you wont buy another axle. I could be wrong on this, but it's what I've gathered after reading hundreds of threads. |

Ah...thanks for the info. I can see spending the coin if I was doing comps but not as a backyard crawler. I was just wondering because I was a bit surprised when I clicked on the link and saw the price |

| If you were doing comps you would understand completely. But just for bashing around they really aren't necessary. Breaking an axle or not making the turn in one turn make the difference between winning a comp or losing.
