RTC or RTR? RTC is more for crawling while RTR is more for bashing around The price is ok. |

I don't think the kits are being produced anymore. I think they originally went for around $250, and given the lack of availability, if you want it in kit form, I'd say it's an ok price. Do an EBay/Craigslist search for new kits and see if there are any there to price. If'n it were me, I'd probably go in and offer $175, pointing out it's a discontinued product (the kit, that is), and that the AX-10, while still popular, has been unseated with a second generation product, the XR-10. Keep in mind that if you're going to comp it, you'll be spending quite a bit more money to make it competitive. Good luck! |

The original kit isn't a bad deal. You get better hardware with it than the others and all metal links instead of the flimsy ones. The electronics that come with the others are junk at best so you need to buy electronics eventually anyway. And the best part of all ITS A KIT!!!! You get the joy of assembling it your self and will know you rig inside and out. Good way to learn the platform of you are new to the axials. If you do get a kit I would suggest upgraded out drives as the only real mandatory upgrade. The back drilled alum one will fail prematurely.

| Good points. I would recommend doing the same. If he still has one on the shelf then he has obviously been sitting on it for a while. Pick it up and blow the dust off it as you ask for a discount |
