| Help with new Chassis decision?
I've been looking around and thinking of getting a new chassis for comp only. Just wondering if I could get some opinions between what I've been looking at. I would most likely run this sprung but may toy with the idea of trying out some TCS droop springs. -Vanquish Incision -Gatekeeper GC3a -Mayham Engineering and lastly a Bender SWX I'm kind of leaning towards the VP chassis because I would like to use their 4-link plates and DH Pro-comps. I just figured it would be easier to order it all at once from the same company. Any opinions or first hand experience would be greatly appreciated although I think in reality any one of these chassis would be great. I have searched around but this actually why I can't decide LOL. |

Im running the vanquish chassis on my 2.2, love it to death. Seems to work really well for me and the way i drive. Few other people might be able to throw is their 2c about the other chassis. |

GC3A for the win . Add the OD/UD gear combo and you have a killer setup. I'm continually impressed with it. My $0.02.

Have you considered the Axial SWX chassis? I run it with the TCS droop springs and really like it. |

| The price alone is unbelievable and you get it all, not to mention the Gatekeeper chassis has been a top performer for years. I really loved mine and I've tried some very good chassis'. My $.02

Hy, a small list of great places I've shopped at. Seems like a fun, hard choice. I only own SWX. *The chassis you've picked are all so sexy. For 2011 I think the GC3 looks like a sweet deal (value), although I'd like to try the "black" Incision, just cause I looks so sick. After my nerd links I added some items each deal comes with.* -Vanquish Incision $59.99*http://www.vanquishproducts.com/vp-p...0-chass10.html Side plates, skid & cross members. -Gatekeeper GC3a $99.98* http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXZUG6&P=FR Everything... -Mayhem Engineering $30.00 shipped http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=287172 Side plates, cross members, & non-drilled skid. *Bender SWX $88.99 http://www.rpphobby.com/ProductDetai...ctCode=AX30506 Side plates, skid, cross members, & links Hope this helped |

Thanks for the advice so far everyone, I know I can easily get the SWX through my LHS making my life easy but for some reason I'm kind of leaning towards (in my head) the GC3a. Although I love the look of the Incision. Can anyone tell me how stiff the SWX is? I think the only thing negative I've read is it is kind of flexible something I'm trying to solve over the crappy integy C/F TVP set-up I have now

Out of the choices, I'd say GC3A would be my pick. Gatekeeper has always been know to have ba link geo, and all the video's of his are impressive. Any way you decide to go with the list you got there, I'm sure you'll be happy. All are great chassis. |

SWX is probably the oldest design out of the bunch and would be my last choice. I am always being distracted by the newest shinny thing that comes out though.

Alright I think I'm going to check with my LHS if can order the GC3a through them, I do believe so because I see it's available through Tower Hobbies and I know they do some ordering through them. I will keep you posted. Hopefully this will be on it's way to me soon . |

I recently bought at GC3A and GC3 and they are both very well put together. CKRC had them on sale when I got them, you might check and see if they still do.

Just picked up a mayhem chassis for $30 as said. And it made my already winning black widow truck work even better for the price you cant beat it. Ive heard tons of good things about the gc3 also but never ran or seen one run first hand.
