Default which brushed motot too choose ?

All right ! I have been a little out of touch and I am looking to upgrade my ax10 motor. I am presently running the Integy 55t. I have the Novak Rooster ESC and 7 cell Nicad saddle packs. I don't wish to replace them due to additional cost (Wife). Which is the best motor for crawling but will increase wheel speed when needed ?

I would say either a 35t or 45t HolmesHobby motor. Myself I run a HH 7t Colbalt puller and love it. This thing has torque to spare and wheel speed when I need it.

I have both the Holmes and the Brood 35T. I like them both, but I would lean toward the Brood...IMO, it is just a hair better.

X's 2. Holmes Handwound or Brood. I run a 35t HH Handwound and love it.

you really can't go wrong with Holmes or Brood. After reading I dont know how many threads, it all seems to come down to personal preference. I run HH and will probably keep it that way for the forseeable future

X2! You could get a 3s (or 2s) 1300mAh Thunder Power lipo for about the same price as a new motor. Integy motors are decent.

I just picked up a 55t Integy today (from a 75t) that cost me $31.99, and my 3s 1250mah Lipo I bought 2 days ago cost me 29.99. These are Canadian prices so I'm not sure if they are on par with what you may have to pay.

I run a Br00d 40T Creep Type R that is insanely smooth.

I ran one of John's 35T motors in the past and though it was a great motor, I'm partial to the Br00d.
