Default brplatz's Fastback II Build

Started my build tonight since I am back at home from college for the easter weekend. Should be interesting, I am very excited to see this sportsman type vehicle progress.

Started out as a RTC AX10 and has evolved progressively.

I still have major things to upgrade, but my money is going to my jeep at the moment haha

Axles being rebuilt

Big Bores

Fastback II

With Trasmision

Dmount

link builing jig

finished front link 4 1/4 eye to eye

HB rovers

Gotta finish links and find some more rod ends......
Also I am running the stock 55t motor from the RTC, it seems too long and will hit the frame, well I guess ill figure it out.

Maybe run the shock lower on the outside of the axle tab which will also allow you to be abe to push the lower link over a tad. Nice looking buil so far

Yea im having a hellava time fitting the electronics if my fb II also. I've got my factory esc on the rear links, cc bec and all wiring stuffed inside. Still got to find a place for the reciever. Juan done an awesome job on the fb II but man its a tight fit. Yours is looking good keep it up.

You have to get a little creative but with patience it all fits nicely.

I used some aluminum I had laying around and made a piece that used one of the tranny bolts that I could mount the reciever on. Mounted the ESC on the rear links and put the BEC on the mini dig servo. I just used velcro to hold everything in place. I also got some new ends and shortened up all the wires.
