Default little run down of my setup...thoughts needed

i am fairly new to the axial ax-10 crawling rig... and the one i have now was given to me by my sisters husband, and imo there are a few things i'd like to change...heres a little basic run down of what i have now.. and i would like thoughts on this setup.. where i could improve on.. i am kinda in the middle, i'd like it to have a little more top end speed, but also have a good amount of tq for crawling... let me know what you guys think!

steering: JRacing Z590m servo w/ high clearance steering link
Dynamite Tazer 15T ESC
Futaba R603FF 3 channel Recever w/ futaba magnum 2.4GHz remote
stock pinion 48dp 14t
im assuming stock 87t spur gear
and a Peak Raven S V2 Motor

any tips, thoughts, suggestions... anything would be helpful.. thanks a lot guys!

Robinson Racing Products Hardened steel outdrive gear is probably one of the best investments you can
make. Here's a link:

Get yourself a good set of tires and foams. I suggest the Hot Bodies Rovers, as they are on sale almost everywhere. Then, look up Crawler Innovations for some Double Deuce 5.5" foams.

Cant agree more! How can you climb if you can't grip!

Delrin links are super nice to have also, they make the car slide a lot better. They are easy to make from 3/8" rod or buy off here.
