| aluminum C's into plastic axle housing not staying tight
I recently upgraded the C's in the front of my AX-10 to aluminum and I am unable to keep the screws tight that hold the C's on. Looking for any tips to help solve this short of buying aluminum axle housings. Thanks for any info you may be able to provide |

Beef toobs are your best bet. I had the same problem, my screw holes were stripped out. Be carefull in reverse because this problem caused me to start snapping dog bones because my cs would flex and it would bind.

You can superglue or CA glue the screws until you get the beef toobs...they will still unscrew, you just have to twist a little harder. That's how mine are installed right now.

I used some super short M3 heli-coils in my old axle housings, they held up until the day I literally broke a hole in the housing by the ring gear.
