Default Crawler wont run.. help please

So i turn on my rc crawler (basically stock) and the light on the actual rig blinks red then green back and forth when i turn it to on. The receiver wont connect to it essentially. I just bought a new battery. i charged it but it doesnt seem to be responding? What am i doing wrong? thank you for your help!

is the TX binded to the RX correctly?

sorry i dont know what tx or an rx is but everything is how it normally is. I know it was acting funny like my battery was going out. So i bought a new battery. Then now that the battery is fully charged it wont work. So im lost.

Tx = Transmitter (the part you hold in your hand)
Rx = Receiver (the part on your truck with the antenna)

Have you checked the batteries in your transmitter? Did it work properly before? Did you make any changes right before this happened?

old am style transmitter with a big antenna, or newer 2.4 with a stubby antenna?

the changes i just made were adding 4link and the clearance links. nothing electrical. I did have to put the cervo on the metal plate when doing the 4link. Did i loosen a wire on accident inside the cervo somehow? I looked and everything that i could see and nothing wasnt connected. The batteries in the tx are new. im not sure it looks like it could be the rx. The battery isnt the problem i have detected by using two different ones and same blinking light.
