Default Help picking which radio system to get.

Hello all
Just about to build my ax10.Already have a futaba 3gr stick radio but dont think this will be any good for what i want my ax10 to do.Will be going over to a wheel radio and been looking at the futaba 3pl or the spektrum dx3c.Want to spend around £100 so these are both in that amount. The main thing im looking for is 4 wheel steering. They both say they do it but is it possable to switch from 4ws to crab or just to wheel steer without going into the menus of the radios. Also like the 3pl and its 4 channel and could also be used to switch lights on as well.Any help would be good.
Thanks Paul.

Default dx3c bang fot the buck

Just put 4ws on my ax10 and decided on the dx3c, it works great. It does allow you to switch between the steering modes on the fly, easy to use and set up.

Default Thanks for the replys

Still not sure between the 3pl or the dx3c.Would like the 3pm-x but cant find one below the £200 price mark. Its almost the same as my futaba 3gr stick radio but the extra bits for crawling or brake mixing.Any other models of radio anyoneis using mainly to get the 4ws working.Proberly will go with the spektrum one as the recevers are about the cheepest as well.
thanks Paul.

If $ is a factor. A really good cheap radio is the GT3b from flysky. I really like mine, and with the software update/hack, it works great for crawling. radio is $35-50 with 1 rx and each addition rx is under $10.

because it has 8 batteries, only 10 model memory(maybe that's not important)...only 2 reason why spektrum is better the futaba, maybe there are more...

I think the the main thing is you want is to make sure your 3rd channel switch is a 3 position switch.
