So I just finished putting my electronics in my truck and when i turned it on to test everything my forward and revers were backwards and i cant figure out why besides something being backwards. Any help would be appreciated before i tear this thing apart trying to find out whats wrong.

Either:

Flip the switch on the radio

or

Reprogram the esc to the radio

or

Swap the motor wires around

You can also flip your diffs. Had to do this with my tekin rs 17.5 sensored combo. Swapping wires was not an option with the sensored setup. Tried reversing from my radio and ended up with sluggish fwd and a very snappy reverse. Setup the hotwire was the easiest fix but made the mistake of resetting the esc trailside and it reverted to the former. Flipping my diffs was the only foolproof fix for my situation.

No I meant differentials. Depending on which side of the pinion gear your ring gear rides decides which direction your axles rotate.

So explain how you successfully flipped your Axial axles over...pics would be even better.

I used my rear wraith axles for ease of access.

Remove tires, hexes, drive pins.

Pull setscrews and lockouts

Remove diff cover

Pull bearing caps

Remove diff

Replace diff

After going through all this I realized this is the ax10 forum. Looking at my Wifes scx10 I noticed the pumpkin dosent appear to be able to accept the differential in both configuration.
Sorry guys. My mistake.

I didn't think to look at the forum headder prior to opening my mouth. Insert foot in mouth. I'm sure axial had some reason for not making their axles the way they did. I do like the design of the wraith pumpkins even if it wasn't offset the diff cover and bearing strongbacks make maint much easier.

Sorry again. Hope I can help in the future.

Can swapping the motor wires around work on a vanguard 3150 motor with ae 3 esc? Or will it mess it up?
