Default ax10 open axle diff

hey everyone just wanted to know if an open gear set for ax10 axles are worth 100bucks seen some guy selling a set on a forum had a good laugh over it but couldnt find them anywhere else on the net

You mean taking the locker out of the diff case and putting the spider gears in? I run these in my wheely king axle on my trophy truck.

Do those require a cross pin for each pair? Or do gears come with them?

Both mine and the wife's AX-10 RTCs came with these parts in their parts bags (each truck has parts to open one axle). Also in the bags is a cross pin and a (motor) pinion, which I believe is 20 teeth.
I was unaware I was sitting on $100 worth of parts that I got for free!
Sounds like somebody's on a sucker-hunt.

You'd be stupid to pay $100 for 2 whole axial axles!


(assuming they dont have every axle upgrade under the sun)

i dunno man.. my LHS has a package of 1 complete ax10 axle, everything you need cases, gears, grease, screws etc and its $46.00 for one axle times that by 2 and you get $92.00 then tax. works out to be the same.
