|  Dig and gearbox gears
I just got my delivery of robinson one piece diff locker gear and idler gear, but Im going to go dig as the local comps only have 1 2.2 class so Im up against dig, rear steer and moa rigs. Anyway I cant use the 1 piece gear now so what do I need to order to have stronger internal gears? I checked the rrp site and they only do 2 of the gears? Second question Im about to order a vp dig what mini servo should I get? Thanks Nik |

Use this gear Robinson racing part #1540( Robinson Racing Products - Products and Pricing for Axial AX10 SCORPION) as far as the servo I'd use the hitec mighty mini

This is a set of all 3 gears that are harden steel. Hot Racing Axial SCX10 AX10 Wraith hard steel center gears set |

I was going to get the other rrp gear but it seems they only do 2 out of the 3 gears and I cant remember if all 3 are plastic standard? I,l check out the hitec mini. I may end up looking into the hot racing gears, are they any good? Thanks for the replies! Nik |

One stock gear is metal. And you shouldn't be put in a class where others have rear steer.

Ah so thats why rrp only have 2 metal gears, I had a feeling but wasnt 100% Yeah sucks about comps but Im not complaining at all. 1st comp I ever saw I competed learning the rules as I drove (against dig, rear steer, and moa) and on my first track I came first being the only one that could make the bonus line!! 3rd overall for the day out of 7 and I was the only sportsman. 2nd comp the same 1st on the first track and 3 over all (pattern here) and I was again the only sportsman! Now Ive upgraded to hh torquemaster combo ( its nice have a drag brake ) and bta steering. Dig is all thats left. Look out 2012 comps  |
