Update,

My new drive shaft collar arrived today and I went ahead and figured out my links. I went to a hubby shop and bought long and short 3mm hex screws for my links. Let me know how it looks or how should I change it.

I want to change all my green links to black.

I put the collars on to protect the pins and the plastic around the pin from tearing away, I guess. Won't last long with a new torquer motor though. Should my steering link be at a angle or it's perfectly fine there?

what kind of angle? Probably oughta go with longer upper links to point your pinion (outdrive from the axle more towards the tranny....that would also make your steering linkage point more downward...you can take a pen body and slide it over the main link, helps roll over the rocks.

Not a bad angle at all. I know I could prob adjust my links with shims to help out angle. I figured to put a collar on since I do nothing but rock crawling only. An added insurance part I figured..

Update: Any body know where to get decals for the cherokee?

It was time for a new paint job. I get bored with paint jobs quick. lol.

I took to my shop and took a mini da with 320 grit and sanded it down on some area and then red scotch brite the body to give it a smoother feel. I primer it then I painted it yellow.

Yellow wasnt really cutting it so i put some blue and gray textured look to it. Something different I guess...

Pictures.

Yes, give it more realism when it scratched up.

Here's more pictures of the finished painted body. It looks okay in some area but I like it. I also made my own skid plate! I think it's one of a kind!

Pictures!

I liked the rear tail lights..

Skid plate template out of paper then i traced it out on alum sheet.

Pictures:

Prime etch the panels..

painted.

Once it's dry i will post pictures of it mounted on along with some stickers on the panels as well!

looks pretty good. i have really liked that body since i painted one for my buddies ax10. IMO it would look better lower on the chassis but then you'd havev to cut out more fender. dig the body though.

I'm digging the boatsides. I also like the idea of painting the outside of the body so it shows the trail damage. I did the same to my wraith.

The boat sides never hung up on the rocks. It actually helps slide over rocks. Pics to follow soon!
