| 2nd wind build.
so i have sold 23 r/c cars in the past two weeks. All i have left my daughters two cars. She has a losi mini desert buggy with a 6800kv mamba micro pro esc combo. -yep 5y/o and has a 6800kv, with micro pro.... it is set at 40%. -lol Her other one is a AX10 that i got in a trade. it had wore out ball ends all over. i replaced the ball ends, and hope to see what else is common to fix on these trucks. I switched with her ax10 so i could sell it. so far i have only redone the ball ends and used a xr10 body mount cross members toreuse her pink xr10 body. here is my goal, to make something tough for both of us, but nothing crazy. i would like to use a castle esc only beacuse i can easly change the settings using my castle link that i already have. I plan to have the truck running at 50-60% for my daughter and 100% for me. what esc and motor would you suggest that i use? thanks arick Last edited by navyeoseabee; 04-08-2012 at 11:38 PM. |

i believe that the holmes hobby esc is castle link programmable. It is brushed only though

i was thinking the holmes esc too, as of right now a local freind offered up a stock esc,and novak 45t motor. it will work for awhile since it is castle link friendly. any other suggestions about making the Ax10 tough? |
