Default Brushless in my ax10?

Hi in looking to get a tekin fx and 21.5 brushless combo but an wondering if it'll work great in my ax10. Itll be replacing a blown fxr and 55t brushed combo from tekin. I really liked the brushed but I'm a big fan of the brushless so I want to go that route. Will the bl have enough torque

not sure on the tekin fx BUT brushless works ok in crawlers. i ran one a couple times. here's some tips, make sure the system is sensored!! the brushless has tons of power so gear it low!

the biggest downside will be drag brake. now when you let off the throttle it will STOP on a dime. don't matter what kind of incline your on it will STOP. now going downhill as soon as you give the rig any throttle, the motor will freewheel. this is bad for controlled decents. you have to learn to slightly give it throttle and as soon as the crawler starts to move, let off the throttle. its kinda start, stop, start, stop going down longer steep downhills.

You definatly want sensored for it to be smooth. I built a Novak Ballistic with the heatsink sleave, 14mm rotor and 25.5t stator. Tons of power, low heat, long battery life and I am not replacing brushes every time it gets wet.

Maybe I'll just stick with the brushed since I really like how it crawls as is and just replace the esc. I had it set up so it desends hills awesome really nice and slow and controlled and it still had plenty of power, in running 3s so power wasn't an issue

The Tekin FX series is a brushed ESC, if you wanted Tekin you would have to get the RS. I use a 35T motor with the Tekin FXR and It works great. Pleny of wheel speed when needed and plenty of torque.

Right now I have the tekin fxr with the 55t motor it worked great but I fried the esc with bad soldering my bad. So I was lolling into replacing it or upgrading to brushless but I think I'll stick with brushed and maybe just get a new combo since the motor is the old version and I had bought it used so if like it all new and I'll solder it the right way
