Default My new ax10. Kind regards from mexico city

Hello.
I couldnīt find any forum to present myself and thatīs why I use this one to do it and to show to you my AX10 Scorpion.
Iīm from Mexico city and I really love everything about 4x4, in fact Iīm owner of a real Jeep Wrangler TJ for which I made a lot of modifications as suspension, racks, bumpers, rock sliders anothers.
Thatīs why I love everything about 4x4 vehicles, specially Jeep.
Talking about RC vehicles my objective is to mount a New Bright body using the AX10 suspension and the rest of components. Obviously I would jave to make a new chasis for it.

Here some pictures of the original crawler

And here is the first test of the new body on the original AX10 chasis. I donīt like the position of the shocks absorbers, thatīs why I need to make a new chasis in order to mount the New Bright body and to relocate the shocks

Iīm making a set of bead locks of aluminium for mi new RC project (the first one by the way). As I told you I love to make all the accesories for my cars.

Hereīs the new chasis mounted on the AX 10 chasis just by now, this is made of aluminium too. After Iīll remove the AX10 chasis and Iīll keep only the new chasis

Here the new position of the shocks:

Once y have the chasis for mi JK, some flex tests for it and I think will be necessary to remove or to cut the fenders

As I told you I have been driving 4x4 vehicles since many years ago , so I know a winch is too much necessary.

So I wont to make a servowinch , something like this Warn winch:

I used a Tower Pro metal gearing servo, powered 10 Kg.

It was necessary to make an axle and I used an old screw to do it

Verfing the assembly of the winch components:

And finally hereīs the winch, painted and I make the hook and the roller too using the product wich appears next to the hook, I bought it at Home Depot.

The control winch is very easy to make:

You need a 3 position switch, a 9 V battery , a connector for the battery and the connectors male and female.

I used the same box wich appears on the previos picture of the hook and the roller winch. This plastic box has the same size that the battery
