I'm building an old school 2.2 shaft style crawler from left over parts. My question is the on the lower link mounts at the transmission. Would the links be better on the inside of the frame like on a SCX10 or to the outside like on the old style AX10. Which would give me a better range of movement? As it sits now I have them mounted to the skid plate from an SCX10 and they triangulate towards the trans. If I mount them on the outside of the chassis plate the lower links would be nearly parallel. As for the upper links they are trangulated toward the axles. What's y'alls thoughts? |

one of the first mods on the og ax10's was shaving down the skid to move the links inside the plates. I miss my xc-1 scorpion. |

Yeah I've been messing around with the links and I'm feeling inside the plates is the better option. I also enjoyed my ole AX10, it was what got me into crawling years back. If been putting together a chassis to go have fun with. |
