My scorpion will be in on Friday. So I have a couple questions...I didnt find an obvious answer anywhere so you guys that already have them oughtta be able to answer this easily.
Does it come with a spur gear? If so what pitch is it? If it doesnt what do you recommend for gearing? It will have a 45t motor.

It comes with 87t spur and 14t pinion, pitch is 48

Ya im pretty glad mine is coming in, LHS gets there packing slips early for some reason...The orders come in on Fridays. 48hours and 15 minutes till I get it.LOL

anyone getting theres through a Hobby Town USA hobby store????.... cause i am, and they don't have mine yet!!! well, enjoy the build and post up some pictures when your done!!

Tammie's Hobbies in Beaverton, Oregon has several in stock - I think I caught sight of five or six last night. They WILL ship. Great shop, they've been around for a long time. (503)644-4535. This is the shop that rbgerrish works at, for those of you that know him.

not sure yet, they get their cost on the invoice with the trucks that ship to them... they said they will beat tower hobbies price anyways...

thought i'd be nice and support my LHS, but now i wish that i preordered with a vendor on here!!!
oh well, now i can at least soak up the pointers from all those who have been running theirs already..

well, today i got 1 of the 2 AX10's that i ordered.. 2nd one should be here friday... i mean today!!!

i had to build mine right away of course.

ended up paying 239.00 for them... not to bad, and i supported my LHS..

i will post up pictures in the scorpion photo sticky friday or saturday... i have to get to bed now, its 1:30am right now!
