No, I think savage shocks are somewere in the 6" range, the scorpion's are about 4.75". They tecnicaly would work, but the truck would be way to tall and it already flexes to much.

I put in t-maxx shocks and now the lower links are parallel to the ground. I think that I will put the Axial shock shafts in the t-max shocks and see how that works. The truck likes to get hung up a bit too much right now.

if you really whant them you can get them in a pack of 2 for like 20.00 and then get whashers and then put then under the piston to make them shorter but i have the same ones with the soft springs in them with 60 lbs oil in them and they are really really springy and are really bad for flexing.

| 1/8 Buggy Shocks
Does anyone run 1/8 buggy shocks on the Ax-10? Is the diameter of the mounting holes compatible?

IMHO,the Savage shocks would be good for a 1/4 scale build. To big even for a super class rig. Both supers we have now both run 1:8 scale buggy shocks and they are limited greatly. 4" Maxx shocks would be fine. On a 2.2 rig,a shock around the 3-3 1/2" mark would be my choice. |
