| Droop: limiter strap? how
I drooped my scorpin to lower the COG and am wondering how to make limit straps for the upper links so on side hills it doesn't roll over. I've seen rubber bands used but can't find a pic on how. Any pics or descriptions would be awesome! Thanks all. I know I could make springs for the inside but I's rather not, no drill and all.

well a rubber band seems useless because it will flex. I would suggest shoestring.

Can you tie it to both ends of the shock? Even better, drill a hole in each end and run your shock mounting screws through it with washers on both sides of the string to grab better.

Ahhh! I see, said the blind man. So I can just attach the strap to the center of the stock 3link?

You could crimp on some wire terminal ends to the shoe string and clamp them up between the shock brace and chassis and then again somewhere on the axle.. Just a thought.. |

| you can mount them where ever you see fit. on the upper Y link, you can run two of them to the upper and lower shock mounts. whatever you want. mounting one on each side will limit the articulation better. mounting one on to your upper link will limit how far the center of the axle will droop. your choice
