Default Tires rubbing lower links

I just finished building my Scorpion and The first thing I noticed was that the tires were rubbing the lower links. I assume this is not a good thing. What is the best way to stop this? I have the steering link screw in the bottom hole of the horn, if I move it up a couple of holes will this fix the problem?

It should do, considering you don't have a servo that is getting something like 180 degrees of rotation.

Its really not a problem, i wouldnt worry about it. The tires slightly rub the shocks at full lock on my 2.2 comp rig...

And you could always run less EPA if you happen to have that feature on your radio.

i noticed this too, i set the EPA to stop it, but it doesnt seem to have that much steering. Well i dont know what to compare it too, 1/8 buggies have insane steering.

What servo are you running that your saying it turns bad? Mine turns really nice you must have something in your linkage messed up.

If the tires are turning far enough for them to hit the lower links, you're seeing about as much as the rest of us. Just need to understand that locked trucks don't steer well on high traction surfaces such as carpet, asphalt, and concrete. That's just the way it is.

yeah its my first crawler so i really cant compare to anything, must be good for a crawler..

i think when i run internal springs i can move the washer to the outside moving the link a mm away from the tire, not much but..............

Once you're on the rocks and start unloading weight from the tires, it'll steer better.

They're supposed to, it's called triangulation. A good thing.
