Default Bummer / Fixed / Finished (for now)

So after.. oh i dunno 5 hrs of putting this thing together cussing at myself because i didnt have the right size hex screw drivers (yeah its my first crawler/rc in like .. who knows how long).. i ended up using a T6 and a T8 torx .. worked fine..

however on my maiden voyage.. someone didnt evidently tighten the front dshafts set screw.. so now it has rear wheel drive only :( .. still crawls pretty good with just it ..

you need a metric 1.5 , 2 , 2.5 , allen keys ..what happened to your drive shaft you lose it or break it.

Nyxis, did you have the ball ends in the hole closer to the axle? Wrong ball ends?

(I saw your post before you deleted it.)

yep wrong ball ends.. i was looking at pictures and i didnt have the swept forward ball ends.. just the little short guys..

it sits low with the tmaxx shocks and hpi dual rate springs i made.. doesnt seem to matter much for crawling.. it drags its belly a bit but still makes it over..

Default its kinda low isnt it

i was wondering why alot of trucks like yours are so low . you changed your shocks what was the reason . mine are kinda loose and springs are to stiff, and they weep oil a bit.i would like to find something softer without losing height.you said it still crawls well, mine is pretty good, but could be better.how did you post your pics i cant seem to do it.?

i changed my shocks because i saw most peoples were pretty high and i wanted a belly dragger.. i still have quite a bit of travel.. im going to see if the ax10 shocks are longer but i had read lots of people switched to tmaxx shocks so i started with them..

as for pics.. well i own a few websites so i uploaded my pictures to my website.. but there are web hosting websites you can use.. photobucket is one and is pretty popular..
