Default Maxx sized wheels?

I am getting my ax-10 soon and I was thinking of running the oversized axial rims / tires "maxx size", can I? and what will I have to do to the stock Ax-10 to do so?
I know I will have to gear down to componsate the tire size. Has anyone done this?

I will be running
6cell 2/3 aa
55 turn motor

i think if you get the high clearance links it will help as well as getting wider hexes.

I have a set of extra Revo rims/tires-I tried out there fit.You will need longer axles or adaptors of some sort. The stock Revo rims are too deep on the inside to reach the axle. They rub on the suspension links of the AX-10!

are you talking the 40 series wheels? If so,I personally think that it would be overkill.I don't know much yet about these axles but,I think it is a little too much for a 2.2 axle.
Just my .02,
Pat
