Default Building the Axles

Alright... I got my AX-10 Kit in today... But the axles together and greased as I went. Everything went together really smooth. But the axle don't rotate as smooth as I thought they would. I double checked all my screws making sure I didn't over tighten or leave something loose. They roll, but not real smooth. Not sure if this is a Common thing with these as they are pretty new still. Anyone know of any tricks with these?

Pull them apart and push really hard on the inner pinion bearing. It isn't seated all the way. There should be a little add on instruction paper in the kit telling you to do this. I know I had to take mine apart to seat the bearing. It is very stubborn.

It is the inside bearing on the smaller gear (the pinion). You don't have to disassemble the whole axle, I just use a pair of needle nose and pull really hard on the input shaft, that will seat the internal bearing. Once you do that they will roll smoothly.

thanks,
Axial

Thanks for the tip guys, I had the same problem and didn't think of that. One pull with the pliers and things rotate smoothly now
