| My son's AX10 We Love It!!!
Here is what we've been up to. So... what's everybody think for a father son build. He's 13 and I'm trying to make him do all the work but do have to teach him the first time so he can do it for himself the next. http://s226.photobucket.com/albums/d...ksAxial003.jpg http://s226.photobucket.com/albums/d...ksAxial002.jpg http://s226.photobucket.com/albums/d...ksAxial001.jpg |

Drove it enough to break the drive shafts 4 or 5 times and need a aluminum servo arm. A little taller tire and it could walk up the stairs.

Yes it is wieght. 4oz per side to be exact. Took some 1 inch thin wall steel tubing and welded a fender washer to one end. Then took my scale and filed them with copper BB's, then empteid them into 2 seperate cups so we could screw them down then filled them back up and caped them off with the caps off an okd set of rollerblade bearings container. It turned out pretty cool he thinks it looks like a set of air bags.

I am in Roseville... I have been only crawling at my back yard and my parents. There is a thread called Michigan Roll Call in the get togethers area. Seems like they know where rocks are. |

What on earth are those knobs on the front axle? How did you mount them? How much do they weigh?
