| TLT axle on AX10
Guys.. Have any one used TLT axle on AX10? does the width on axle to narrow? I just order TLT since they still have that 80bucks deal. I was thinking if that was good idea or not... If no I guess I have to just mode TLT for another crawler... |

The AXIAL axles are just as good if not better. Heck they come with bearings from the factory. Better mounting system for the 3 or 4 link designs. TLT axles have a gear diff you'll need to lock for crawling. I also believe the clearance under the Axials is much better. I guess the real questyion is why do you think the Axial axles don't work well? |

I love my current setup I have that I'm working on it.. I need to make battery plate on front axle and some loose cell http://gallery.mac.com/xtremeracingteam#100011 I just though I might ask about the axle differences... I assume I can probably able to use axial rim/tire on TLT so maybe there were some clearance too but anyhow I just had some though.. I seen TLT section has some nice setup and thought maybe I would play it around |

I guess if you're asking if anyone has used the AX10 chassis with Tlt axles? I don't see the point. The Tlt axles are still, I'm sure by far and wide, the #1 axle used in 2.2 competition. If you got One of the $80 kits, why not get a nice after market chassis for them? There's tons of great choices. The AX10 is a great truck/kit, but since you already ordered the Tlt, I don't fully understand your question I guess. |

I'll let you know soon. I have a tuber coming for my Axial, so the TLT ($80 one) axles will likely be put on the chassis of the AX10. Though I'll probably find an R2 tranny or something, seems like these Axial parts are never coming.

I'm sure the stock AX10 tranny would work, but thats planned to go in my Tuber...I like the AX10 tranny alot. Not sure honestly whats going to end up in the TLT-10 project for a tranny. I'd gladly use another AX-10 if they soon become available from RCP/TCS/RPP... |
