Default Finnaly got bit by the bug..

I work around the corner from the hobby shop, and I knew there were two of these just sitting there....

well tonight temptation gave in, and this thing found its way on my counter

headed downstairs with a 24oz Dr Pepper, and gathered my supplies
Integy shocks, xrs esc, tower pro servo, 55t lathe, and a body I had bought for something else once upon a time, I wanted a bug body, and losi tires, but no one had them in stock local, so this will do for now...

I plan on a stockish build for now, and well see what happens from there...

this is as far as I got tonight... more tomorrow!

Hey how well do those Integy shocks work for you and what springs are you using?

if you flip the rear knuckles then lock them out it will give you better clearance in the rear. and you might want to make your own lock outs. when my rear tire got tight the stock ones riped out. since i made my own havent had the problem yet.

runs good too!

just needs a better driver, and tires that can stick to moss...

tweaked it a bit today...

Bent the lower links, used button head screws instead of cap screws, installed a washer and o-ring on the three link to reduce slop and trimmed the body a bit more..

I think I am going to order the upper link mount from the crawler store, might pick up the battery mount as well...
