Default coy's AX-BULL

Well it was tossed togeather the night before the last comp. So I thought I'd show the whole rig for him (he asked )

It started out as Moms AX 10 then I robbed the axles for my scale build. So everything was just about put togeather for the most part. just a few changes, like longer shocks, turned the grins up right. I was driving it around a little yeterday and I'm really liking the control of the Crawl Max motor I received from Run2jeepn, ultra smooth. I'll test it out more today.
anyway here are some pics.

He wanted to keep his other body and when he got the Free Axial Sticker sheet.. well he is five and you can see his handy work in the pics.

and he of course wanted dad's "truckcar" in a couple.

Thanks

I took it out for a little test and tweek yesterday at lunch and it performed great, even with the stock lizards on it. I have about 3oz in each tire with the foams cut to my liking.

Side hilled flaulessly,
Climbed like a mountain goat,
Rolled over with no damages..

... I was creeping up a kinda steep rock with holes on each side... was doing great when the tire slipped a little and the other grabbed a hole and there it went straight backwards, end over end, top to wheels for about 5.5 feet on jagged-ish rock. I thought it'd stop like it usually does around there but it just kept going till it landed on its wheels on the dirt below. It was entertaining and wished I'd had the video camera with me. No damages to the axles, chassis, or anyother components. it was great and I just had to share.

Looks well thought out for being "tossed together" IMO.

You know, I'm usually pretty happy that I'm single and have no kids. But when you guys get on here and tell stories and post pics about crawling with your kids, it makes me feel like somethings missing from my life (especially now that my dog is gone) That is really cool that y'all will take the time to teach them about crawling and include them in your adventures...

It started life as a well thought out rig (*see other thread by me in here) then swaped out the short shocks for 110's, flipped the horns up right and re-attached the axles all at 1am saturday night before the last comp.

My son really likes the 1 and 1 time with dad, and he was the "big shot" with some of the other kids around cause they didn't have one and he did.
