| AX-10 newb ????
I just picked up a new AX-10 and I have one question about theses kits. When did Axial start putting the "sticky" compound tires in the kits and how can you really tell what a guy has?? I am building this kit for the ORCRC Axial AX-10 class they have started in Oregon and I will definitely want to run the sticky tires instead of the standard tires. | I don't know what I have, that is the question. I don't want to order stickies if I already have them. I have never bought anything from Axial even the tires. I am a TLT guy for competing in 2.2, this AX-10 is for a specific "stock" Ax -10 class ORCRC has started. I go down there sometimes and compete there too besides WA. |

I heard Axial was going to start putting the stickie compound tires as an improvement on their kits. It could all just be BS but who knows if you don't ask. I did see a better wheel is now included from another thread. Yes on the tires for the AX10 class in Oregon. Here are the rules to the new and really fun class. http://www.orcrc.com/forum/showthread.php?t=775 | |

If you don't know how to tell the difference, then how do you know you have the sticky coumpound that came in the kit?

It is my understanding that the "stickies" are an upgrade for the kit...IMO go with the Losi's, they are a very predictable tire...

I remember reading that Axial would not be changing to the stickie tires in the kit.

run your finger across the sidewall, if it kind of drags then they are most likely sticky or maybe try climbing a shiny box from a printer or something. I know mine did not come with stickys, I would think none would so that we can give them even more money. I bought it mid-october I think...
