|  suggestions for pinions
i got a frio-15 1450KV motor to use on my R2 Disco tranny for the new ax-10/tuber.. i need some suggestions on what pinion to use.. i don't have any 32P pinions, so i got to order one no matter what..and i am kind of clueless as to what pinion to try.. any suggestions would be much appreciated.. thanks! birdie  |

I started with 14t in my r2. I like some wheele speed in my crawler though.

I run a 12 tooth in my R2D with a 55T lathe. Good wheelspeed, and torque, but will bog down a little in certain bind situations.

I tend to agree with onespeeder. I am now running a 10T. Birdie I have a 12T if you wanna try that. I'm headed out your way this Sunday to go out to mineral wells.

I agree with Onespeeder and Whoodie. It sounds like a good combination of torque and speed.
