| What a difference that ONE spacer makes!!
So, a buddy and I have been out testing the completely stock, assembled out of the box AX10 for 5 days now and it's a boat-load of fun, but, using the tip for the spacer on the LEFT right rear shock made a night-and-day difference in the way it handles the situations we've put it in. THANKS RCC Next tip to put to use it lower mounted batt packs...........We have a lot of blasted sharp rocks around here, so the stock tires stay for now. Take at least one of the thick spring pre-load spacers and put in (when looking at the truck from behind) the left rear shock. Another tip that we havn't tried is lowering it by putting the rubber bumpstops inside the shock body, but right off the hop, put that spring pre-load spacer in.

Any stiffening of the spring of the right rear will help the torque twist problem, when you punch the throttle... watch the chassis... it will twist from the torque of the motor as it travels through the drivetrain. Stiffening the right rear will help this out. YOu can add spacer or more, or change to a stiffer spring. Whatever. The stock shocks stink anyway, get new ones, and get some heavy oil. |

Yes I corrected my original post *make sure it is the LEFT REAR* when looking at the truck from the BACK! *(therefore it would be the back right fiom the front view)* |

The norm to describe a cars left or right is from drivers perspective-that is, a real cars perspective. For us RC'ers, we have to use a bit of imagination and reduce ourselves to 1/10th scale and sit in the vehicle. So if I'm understanding your last description, you were right, from drivers perspective it would be the left rear. |
