Default Donziikid's Axial AX10 Scorpion.

Well, I'd say it's been a very, very happy Christmas for me this year. New house, bought a Mini Z and received this from my Grandfather. I'm sure there will be electronics on the way in the next few days, if not I'll be buying them on my own within the next few days. I need to research some Mamba Maxx things, I don't want to run brushless right off the bat, I like Brushed for some reason and I need to learn how to use a brushed motor on the Mamba ESC if at all possible..

After nine hours of assembly I've finally completed the chassis with a mock-up servo for right now. I hope to be getting some sort of metal-geared ball-bearing from Tower. No clicking, so happy!

I didn't feel like dragging out my Dads photography backdrop mats, so those are just on some excess Christmas wrapping paper I found laying around. Lol. Sorry for the crumply-ness of the background.

I'll update this when I get some electronics in.

Comments, questions, critisism? It's all welcome.

Nikon D100 with a 28-105mm lense. Also used two 40W spot lights and my Dads Nikon Speedlight SB-800. Oh, can't forget the tripod and a 8-Gallon crate as the stand.

Wish I could have used my Dads D2X, but he didn't have the right lense on.. (Had his telephoto-lense on, if I changed it he would have noticed and it wouldn't have been good'.)

Thanks for the picture comment. (Ah, sounds like myspace!)

Well, I don't have the ultimate tool. Photoshop. I need to do some editing to those images, the only thing I did do was go into GIMP and add the text to that first image and crop them to 6in x 10in to get them printed.. I need to go in and fix the lighting in some of them...

Yeah, I wanted to make sure everything was right. Being as it's my first crawler, I didn't want something to go wrong the second I set it on the ground with a motor.

Sorry for the massive bump, but here are some updated pictures and a video clip. I need to get the body completed...:

Took the Axial up north this past weekend because it was a little nicer and a lot less snow. But, lo and behole', less snow meant more water; more water means more mud; more mud means more fun.

I kept her pretty clean and decided I really need to upgrade to deans ultras and purchase some LiPo saddle packs. This dead weight NiCD pack really gave me the tendancy to flip backwards.

Good day, back to cleaning her.

All of the above images are clickable. If you can guess what my new desktop is you're my new best friend.

Video with crappy photobucket music. Wanted it to be suspensful music but not this exact type of music. If it were my choice, it would have been BassHunter. I just need an iMac and I'll be good in the video department.

Guess you didn't go with the MM?! Get some saddle packs and get your electronics down lower. Some weight in the tires would help also.

Just thought I'd post up a progress/current picture of my Axial AX10.

Currently running the following:
ESC: Novak GOAT.
Motor: Novak Cralwer 18.5.
Receiver: Spektrum SR3000
Transmitter: Spektrum DX3.0
Battery: 6-cell stick pack, Venom 3600mAh @ 2.0amps.
Servo: HiTec HS645MG.
Gearing: Stock.
Tires: Stock.
(Can be viewed here: No Body Picture)

I would have updated video since the last time I was posting, but the camera didn't seem to want to shoot any video that day (dead battery, lol). I just love moody electronics.

All comments and critisism valued.

Cheers,
Kyle.
