| Rear steer for $35??
WTFBBQ?? 2 links (yea they're nice), a servo saver that I'm not gonna use, and a jiggly servo horn that I'm not gonna use, for 1/6 the price of the whole kit? $35?? Am I missing something??? Guess green anodizing must be a spendy process. |

if you want rear steer, just get an extra servo ( you might already have one). The ax 10 kit comes with 2 axle plate/servo mounts,... i just used 6-32 rod, then sleeved it with 3/16 brake line, i used the build manual and made them the same length as the front linkage... and WALA... rear steer....

4-40 is to small you will yank out the threads quickly I would step up to 6-32

3/16 brake line has a good inside diameter for 6/32 you can run a tap in the ends for a tie rod link. There is a thread about making links. its a sticky somewhere about it. |

Thanks man. Since I already have em I'll give the 4-40 rods a shot. If I strip em out I'll step up. As far as the brake line goes, isn't that stuff supposed to be relatively flexible? |

Just making sure your not planning on running in any comps? 4ws is not allowed for competition use, in the 2.2 class.

heh... really the main reason I want rear steer is because of all the work I put into my controller. My Modded TQ3 Update - Added EPA pots After all that it'd be lame not to use it.

Dig setups are allowed in comps and pretty much everyone and their brother is running one now a days. Last edited by Mnster; 12-24-2007 at 11:49 PM.

hmm... well for now since I'm just screwing around I'll have rear steer. Take me all of 5 minutes to remove if necessary. I'm very interested in dig but I need to lear more about it. Seems like there were a lot of changes during my break from crawling.

when i did my rear steer on the AX10, i just used the extra rod ends in the kit ( the straight ones) and then bent my tie rod out a little to clear the diff
