|  Dig Unit on AX10 Ridgecrest?
Hey can anyone explain how to install a rear dig unit onto the Ridgecrest? Is it possible? I see available dig kits for the Wraith but not ridgecrest? I am a crawling newbie, so realize this Q might sound stupid.  Thx in advance! |

The wraith tranny will fit into the Ridgecrest but I don't believe the stock tranny is dig compliant so if you want one get a wraith tranny off eBay for $60 or so

I really don't know, I'm more of a trail guy than crawler and haven't used a dig unit before. From what I hear they are nice to have.... And my roommates wraith has a tranny that can be upgraded with one lol

If youre just planning on smashing through the rocks n dirt a dig is not going to be worth while... rear steer would be more useful.. if youre gonna comp it then yea go with a dig tranny... just my 2 cents..

I ve done both.. rear steer is W A Y fun'er if ya know what i mean!

Yeah, have rear steer and dig on my wraith and 4ws is way more useful. I do like the dig, but won't bother on this one.
